What the app stores

Your profiles, button bindings, scroll curves and DPI presets live in the app’s own preferences on your Mac. The DPI and report rate you choose are sent to the mouse itself over HID++ and re-applied from those same local preferences when it reconnects. None of it is uploaded anywhere.

What the app sends

• License activation. When you paste a license key, the app sends the key and an anonymous machine identifier to our payment provider so it can count activations against your 3-Mac limit. Nothing else is attached.
• Update check. An optional request for the current version number. It carries no identifier and can be turned off in Settings.

There is no telemetry, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifier, and no third-party analytics in the app.

Keystrokes and pointer events

Macros and scroll shaping need Input Monitoring and Accessibility permission. Those events are read in memory, transformed, and re-emitted immediately. They are never written to disk, logged, or transmitted.

Buying a license

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record for the sale. They collect your email, billing details and the information required to charge you and remit sales tax, under their own privacy policy. We receive your email address and the order record so we can send your key and answer support requests. We never see your card number.

This website

The site is hosted on Vercel and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel keeps standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, for operational and security purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data tied to your purchase, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@mattmade.ai and we will handle it within 30 days. Deleting the order record also invalidates the license key attached to it.
