One detent should not be one whole zoom step.
macOS reports a wheel click as a discrete line event, so Photoshop, Figma, Miro, Illustrator and Preview each translate it into a full zoom increment. You overshoot, you come back, you overshoot again. LogiMac intercepts the detent and re-emits it as a stream of continuous pixel deltas with a proper easing curve — the same signal a trackpad sends. Zooming becomes something you steer instead of something you land on.
- Continuous pixel deltas instead of line events
- Reads the wheel’s hi-res mode from the device (8× multiplier)
- Knows whether the wheel is in ratchet or free-spin
- Per-app profiles — aggressive in Figma, gentle in Preview
